First, lets all recognize that it’s Election Day in the U.S. It is a privilege and a right to vote, so please use it and make your voice heard. Also, remember that change starts small… so don’t ignore all of those propositions, measures, and positions that are important to where you live.
Second, I want to send love, strength, and prayers to the people of the east coast who were recently hit by hurricane Sandy. I just got turned on to Paloma Faith and she is INSANE. Gorgeous voice and amazing album. If you like Adele you love Paloma.
Been crazy busy with work and life, but (against better judgement and the advice of all of you on Twitter) am having drinks with my ex-boyfriend this week. We broke up 5 years ago because he didn’t think I was the one. Right now, in my mind, I hold all the power. I’ll keep you posted! Em – I’d rather you give it up to Shorty D who missed his chance at the wedding (still laughing about that one). If you give it up to the ex-bf anytime soon, and I mean ANYTIME within a few months, you’ll lose that “power” you have now and you’ll end up hating yourself. Please do your self-esteem a favor and keep ex-bf blue-balled unless and until you get into a “real” relationship with him again. Between the musician, Shorty D and me, you have plenty of options if you have to take your clothes off!
Don’t worry – no sex with the ex and yes, I’m still entertaining Shorty D from the wedding. Didn’t know at the time, but he’s actually a pretty great guy. Stay tuned!
Whoa!!! I just went back and re-read the wedding fiasco. What’s going on with Shorty D or whatever his name is? You dating him or just a little side nookie until Mr. Right comes along? Do tell girlfriend!
Nothing is going on with him. We live 2 hours apart. Text sometimes… so we’ll see! No nookie with him since the wedding!
